The Museum of Northern Arizona in Flagstaff, Ariz., will present "Grand Canyon Grandeur: Early Paintings and Prints from the Hays Collection" through May 26. The exhibit's 24 artists labored from 1854 to the mid-1930s to reproduce a small measure of the Grand Canyon's beauty in the 55 works on display at the show. Artists such as Louis Akin, Carl Oscar Borg, George Elbert Burr, Thomas Moran and Gunnar Widforss have works on display. The museum, which is three miles north of Flagstaff on Highway 180, will be offering a number of public programs in conjunction with the exhibit.
