CLIF, the company known for energy bars, has entered the sports drink market with its CLIF Quench brand designed to keep travelers and outdoor enthusiasts hydrated when they are on the road or engaged in high-energy activities at home.

The sport drinks, labeled as 88 percent organic, contain electrolytes and carbohydrates. They contain no artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners or preservatives.

The suggested retail price for the drink, which comes in fruit punch, limeade, orange and strawberry citrus flavors, is $1.49. It contains no fructose corn syrup and comes in recycled PET plastic bottles. The no-fat drinks contain 45 calories.
