Royal Caribbean offers deals on trips from L.A. to Mexico

Royal Caribbean, which operates the Mariner of the Seas cruise ship out of Los Angeles, offers some deals this summer.

A seven-day Mexican Riviera Cruise with stops in Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta, offers rates starting at $499 per person based on double occupancy.

Families might want to check out out the Nickelodeon Family Cruise scheduled July 26 to Aug. 2. From now through June 30, families booking one double-occupancy stateroom can take advantage of a special offer and get a second double-occupancy stateroom free. The discount is available for new bookings only. The themed cruise features stars and entertainment from performances and visits with SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer as well as first-time screenings of upcoming Nick TV shows and movies. Rates start at $2,899 per stateroom based on double occupancy.
