An 86-year-old Murray man and a male adult passenger were hospitalized Friday night after rolling their vehicle in Idaho, police said.

The two were headed south in an SUV on Idaho State Highway 55, just south of Horseshoe Bend near mile post 56, when the elderly driver veered off the road, according to an Idaho State Police news release.

He overcorrected and the vehicle rolled, the release said.

The elderly man was flown by a medical helicopter and his passenger was driven by ambulance to St. Alphonsus Regional Valley Medical Center in Boise, the release said.

Police said the men were both wearing seatbelts.

It was not clear in what condition the men were taken to the hospital, and police had no further information on the passenger.
