A Milcreek house fire displaced one man and caused $75,000 in damage Saturday morning.

Firefighters arrived at the home, near 3100 South and 900 East, just before 11:30 a.m. and observed that the attic was on fire, according to tweets from the Salt Lake City Fire Department.

They extinguished the fire in about 15 minutes. Everyone had evacuated the home before firefighters arrived, police said, and no one was injured.

The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation, police say.
