Provo police have found the body a man who had been missing since Wednesday, according to a news release.

The body of Tyson Cook was found at about 2 p.m. Friday in the area near Squaw Peak Road with a self-inflicted gunshot wound, Sgt. Brian Taylor said.

Cook had been considered endangered when he went missing, and police had asked for the public's help in locating the man.

The case is still under investigation, Taylor said.
