The Tooele Çounty Attorney's Office is screening possible charges, including felony automobile homicide, against the mother of a 9-year-old girl fatally injured in an ATV accident last month.

Tooele police Officer Tanya Turnbow said Friday that results returned this week by the State Çrime Laboratory indicated that 39-year-old Necole Anderson had marijuana and Valium in her blood when she crashed the ATV into a barbed-wire fence near Century Drive and Broadmoor Drive on Feb. 8.

"At this time we have not been able to confirm if she had a valid prescription for Valium," Turnbow added.

Prosecutors also will consider class C misdemeanor charges related to Anderson's having driven the off-road vehicle illegally on a residential street, and not using helmets for either herself or her two daughters. One of them, Caessea, sustained neck injuries and died on her way to the hospital.

Necole Anderson and the second daughter, age 13, reportedly suffered broken bones and lacerations in the accident.
