Asylum 49 Haunted Hospital, 140 E. 200 South, Tooele. The once a real functioning hospital where people actually died, from 7 p.m. to midnight as a seriously creepy haunted house. Black Island Farms' Harvest Festival Corn Maze, 3178 S. 3000 West, Syracuse. Now open Monday through Thursday, 4-10 p.m., Friday, 4-11 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m. to midnight, Sunday, 1-5 p.m. through Nov. 1 Admission is $10, $8 for kids under 12. Nightmare Acres, not recommended for children under 12, is open Thursdays, 7-10 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 7 p.m. to midnight. Admissions $15, combo with the regular corn maze is $20. Crazy Corn and Haunted Maze, 8800 S. 4000 West, West Jordan. Corn maze is now open through Nov. 1, Monday-Thursday, 6-11:30 p.m., Friday, 6-11:30 p.m., Saturday, 3-11:30 p.m.; the hauntings start Monday and continue Tuesdays, Wednesday, Fridays and Saturdays. The Enchanted Woods, Treehouse Museum, 347 22nd St., Ogden. Throughout the month of October, the museum offers a fun, non-scary event for kids every Friday and Saturday from 4-8 p.m. Come dressed in costumes, read fairy tales and enjoy the popular Alphabet Soup. "A Night at the Museum," Iron Mission State Park, 635 N. Main St., Cedar City.
