Dinosaurs will be roaming the halls of the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County's "Dinosaur Encounters" exhibit. Two life-size juvenile dinosaur puppets representing a 9-year-old Tyrannosaurus rex and a 6-year-old Triceratops, will be featured in the exhibit. The puppets perform three times daily Wednesday through Sunday at the museum, with maintenance breaks scheduled Sept. 2-28 and Jan. 19 through Feb. 3. "Dinosaur Encounters" is being staged at the museum's new Dinosaur Hall, which is part of the facility's current $84 million project to restore and seismically strengthen its original 1913 Beaux Arts-inspired building. The museum is at 900 Exposition Blvd., Los Angeles. For information, visit www.nhm.org.
