Reno, Nev. • Jeremy Senglin scored nine of his 31 points in overtime and Weber State beat North Dakota 83-78 Friday night in a Big Sky Conference Tournament semifinal.

Top-seeded Weber State (25-8) will play the Montana-Idaho winner in Saturday's championship.

The Big Sky final will be Saturday at 6:45 p.m. Mountain time and will be televised on ESPNU.

Senglin's 3-pointer gave the Wildcats a 78-73 lead with 40 seconds remaining. Quinton Hooker scored four of North Dakota's next five points to pull the Fighting Hawks to 79-78 with 11 seconds left. Dusty Baker and Joel Bolomboy each made a pair from the line to seal it.

"I was so proud of our guys for making plays and finding a way tonight," said Weber State coach Randy Rahe. "It wasn't pretty but they made some plays when they needed to. Our guys have toughness and fight and never said die. We're excited to have a chance to play tomorrow."

Senglin was 10 of 19 from the field, including 7 of 12 from 3-point land for his 31 points, the second most points in a Big Sky Tournament game in WSU history. He also added four assists and three rebounds while playing 41 minutes.

Joel Bolomboy had 17 points and set a WSU Big Sky Tournament record with 19 rebounds. It was his 25th double-double of the season, the most in a season in Weber State history.

Hooker made all of his 14 free-throw attempts and matched a career-high with 38 points to lead No. 5 seed North Dakota (17-15).

Senglin hit a 3-pointer with 12 seconds left to tie it at 64. Geno Crandall then missed a jumper and Kyndahl Hill blocked Carson Shanks' shot at the buzzer to force overtime.

McKay Cannon added 12 points on four 3-pointers and Richaud Gittens had eight points and knocked down two 3-pointers.

This is the eighth time in school history Weber State has reached 25 wins. They have won 25 or more in three of the past five years. —
