Jordan Mickey scored 27 points and Keith Hornsby added 18, leading LSU to a 72-58 win over Weber State in the consolation bracket of the Virgin Islands Paradise Jam on Saturday.

Joel Bolomboy finished with 18 points and 13 rebounds for the Wildcats, but it wasn't enough to prevent them from falling to 1-3.

Weber State will play Nevada on Monday for seventh place in the Paradise Jam. The Wolf Pack lost their consolation bracket game to Clemson, 59-50.

Louisiana State (3-1) owned a 28-27 halftime lead before outscoring the Wildcats, 44-31, over the final 20 minutes.

The game was tied before Mickey scored four points during an 8-1 run that gave the Tigers a 49-42 lead.

Weber fought back and trailed 61-55 with 5:16 left, but turned the ball over on two of their next three possessions.

LSU took advantage of the sluggish stretch to score six straight points — four by Mickey — to break open the game.
