Arizona finished only in a three-way tie for third place in the Pac-12 baseball standings, but the Wildcats are headed to the College World Series for the first time since 2012, when they won the NCAA title.  The Wildcats' long road to Omaha included victories in an NCAA regional tournament at Louisiana-Lafayette and a Super Regional at Mississippi State. Arizona had to beat the host team ULL twice in the finals of the four-team regional, then took wins of 1-0 and 6-3 over MSU to advance.  Arizona will open the College World Series this weekend against Miami. UC Santa Barbara and Oklahoma State also are in the Wildcats' bracket. On the other side are Coastal Carolina, Texas Tech, TCU and the Florida-Florida State winner.  Arizona went 16-14 in the Pac-12, finishing three games behind champion Utah. The Utes swept a three-game series with Arizona in April at Smith's Ballpark.
