Five years after Gary Andersen sent freshman Chuckie Keeton onto the field as Utah State's starting quarterback in the season opener at Auburn, they are working together at Oregon State.  Andersen, OSU's second-year coach, has added Keeton and former USU offensive lineman Funaki Asisi to his staff in roles to be determined, the school announced. Jake Cookus, a former Weber State assistant coach under Ron McBride, joined the Beavers this week as an analyst focusing on special teams. Keeton and Asisi likely will have similar off-field duties.  Keeton spent five years at USU, with his last three seasons affected by injuries. He worked in Logan with Kevin McGiven, who's now OSU's co-offensive coordinator. Darell Garretson, Keeton's former Aggie teammate, has been named OSU's starting quarterback going into the 2016 season.  Asisi played at USU from 2007-11 and was a starter in his last two seasons. T.J. Woods, the Beavers' other co-coordinator, was Asisi's offensive line coach as a senior.  The Beavers open the season Sept. 1 at Minnesota. They will host Utah on Oct. 15.  – Kurt Kragthorpe
