An 80-yard field goal? Color Utah kicker Andy Phillips unimpressed.

Texas kicker Nick Rose went viral over the weekend after booting a field goal from 80 yards out like it was a Nerf football in the backyard. Just recently, there's been videos from an Alabama commit hitting from 65 yards out and Baylor's kicker converting a 75-yard field goal, but 80 yards isn't exactly routine.

Phillips, however, chided these Internet kickers with a cold, hard fact — field goals only count when the lights are brightest in the fall.

"Let these kids keep filming long field goals with their shirts off," Phillips tweeted Monday morning. "When the lights come on we'll see who puts it through the uprights #Utes."

In the longest in-game field goals category, Rose and Phillips are tied at 51 yards.

The actual stats that contributed to winning football games last season? Phillips reigned supreme, outranking Rose with 82 percent of field goals made versus 66 percent and converting 44 of 45 PATs to Rose's 30 of 32.

Not bad for a guy that "only" hits from 55 yards out in this Youtube practice video.
