No doubt, Becky Tutka will be remembered as one of Utah's best performers on the floor exercise thanks to her outgoing personality and dance skills that have made her a fan favorite.

But when Tutka's career is over, she'll leave the Utes with her name in the record books for another reason, as the school's all-time leader in consecutive routines completed without a fall.

Tutka has made her last 75 routines, putting her ahead of Stephanie McAllister (72, 2010-11), Jamie Deetscreek (64, 2008-09) and Suzanne Metz (63, 1994-95).

Metz still holds the single season record, making 56 routines in 1995.

Tutka has a chance to add two more to her list as she is expected to compete on the floor Friday when the fourth-ranked Utes host No. 5 Michigan for Senior Night and next Saturday when the Utes compete at No. 10 Georgia for the regular season finale.

Tut was surprised to hear she was the new school leader in the category.

"It's not something you think about," she said. "You just go out and try to hit every routine. I don't know if it's luck or what, it just happens."

Even though Tutka has competed primarily only on the floor this season due to an inflamed wrist tendon that set back her training, Utah coach Greg Marsden said she could go on the vault or balance beam now if the Utes needed her.

That ability to step in at a moment's notice and handle the job is one of the things that sets her apart, he said.

"She has always been a utility player who was willing to do whatever she was asked to help us win," he said. "She is competitive and she wouldn't just go in and compete, but do well."

Tutka's consistency has perhaps been taken for granted or overlooked by the performances of the all-around gymnasts, but the Utes were reminded how difficult it can be to craft long hit streaks when both Tory Wilson and Kari Lee fell off the balance beam at Oregon State on Friday.

Wilson was leading the team at the time having hit her 31 last routines, while Lee had made her last 13 routines.

Currently, Kailah Delaney leads the team with 11 hits this season.

"It doesn't add more pressure if you don't think about it," Tutka said.

Speaking of misses: Marsden said he isn't going to make a big deal about the two falls the Utes had on the balance beam against Oregon State.

"It was two of our most consistent gymnasts," he said. "It was just one of those things. What made it so noticeable and so odd was it was both on the same night."

In the rankings

The Utes are ranked No. 1 on the vault (49.52), third on the uneven bars (49.37), sixth on the balance beam (49.175) and fifth on the floor (49.355). Tory Wilson is ranked seventh in the all-around (39.435) and sixth on the vault (9.92), Georgia Dabritz is ranked No. 1 on the uneven bars (9.95), second on the vault (9.945) and fifth on the floor (9.93) and Kailah Delaney is ninth on the vault (9.915).

Arrive early

The Utes are anticipating a big crowd on Friday since it is Senior Night and the Wolverines are the highest-ranked opponent the Utes have faced thus far. School officials are encouraging fans to arrive early and use the free parking at the stadium and take TRAX to the meet.

As of Monday, the Utes had already sold 13,500 for the meet. The Utes are averaging 14,682 fans this year and thanks to the high number of tickets already sold, are guaranteed to set a new school and NCAA record for single season gymnastics attendance. The Utes set the mark last year averaging 14,376 fans.

Tickets are also on sale for the Pac-12 Championships, which will be hosted by Utah on March 21.
