Former Utah State football player Rayshad Lewis has apparently made his choice. Based on a tweet he has sent out, including a photo, Lewis will transfer to the University of Maryland to continue his collegiate football career in the Big 10 Conference.

Lewis, a standout wide receiver as a freshman, had been slated to play both offense and defense going into his sophomore season. He played on both sides of the ball in the Aggies' annual Blue-White spring game at the end of the spring practice period.

However, Lewis announced on April 24 that he intended to transfer. Lewis, the son of former NFL All-Pro and Super Bowl champion linebacker Ray Lewis, did not give any indication where he'd transfer at that time.

Today, he tweeted a picture of himself wearing a Maryland jersey as well as showing off a pair of Maryland gloves along with the message, "New chapter... You ain't gotta understand just sit back and watch."

While Lewis is from Florida and played high school football there, his father played his entire 17-year professional career in the state of Maryland as a star for the Baltimore Ravens.
