Nonleague road games at Duke, BYU and Weber State along with 18 games against Mountain West Conference opponents highlight the 2015-16 Utah State men's basketball schedule, which was officially released Wednesday.

The Aggies, under first-year head coach Tim Duryea, open the season with exhibition games against (Oklahoma) Panhandle State (Oct. 31) and UC Monterrey (Nov. 6).

Utah State, which finished 18-13 last year, begins the regular season at Weber State in Ogden on Nov. 14.

After another in-state game against Utah Valley on Nov. 24, the Aggies travel to Durham, N.C., to play defending national champion Duke on the 29th. On the way home, they stop and play at Missouri State on Dec. 1 as part of the Mountain West-Missouri Valley Challenge.

Utah State, which returns all five starters from a year ago, plays host to defending Big West Conference regular-season champion UC Davis on Dec. 5. Then comes a Dec. 9 showdown at BYU at the Marriott Center on Dec. 9.

The Aggies begin Mountain West play on Dec. 31 at San Jose State. The conference home opener is Jan. 2 against San Diego State, the likely preseason favorite.

Like all Mountain West teams, Utah State will play eight home-and-home series in league play. The Aggies play Wyoming and UNLV only once apiece. —
