After turning down a call-up for January's month-long camp to stay with Real Salt Lake throughout the preseason, Kyle Beckerman is back in the fold with the U.S. men's national team — and in time to face a bitter rival.  Beckerman and RSL goalkeeper Nick Rimando were among the 22 players called in for Wednesday's friendly against rival Mexico in San Antonio, Texas. The friendly between the U.S. and Mexico is slated to kick off at 6:30 p.m. and aired on FOX Sports 1.   Thirteen of the 22 players called in by U.S. coach Jurgen Klinsmann play in Major League Soccer. Nine of the 22 were part of last summer's FIFA World Cup squad in Brazil, including Beckerman and Rimando.   Beckerman, RSL's 32-year-old captain, is back in a U.S. camp for the first time since being part of Nov. 2014 friendlies against Colombia in London and Ireland in Dublin. Beckerman's banner year with the USMNT in 2014 lent to his three starts in the group stage of last summer's FIFA World Cup. He has 42 caps with the U.S. senior team.  Rimando, RSL's 35-year-old goalkeeper, has started all four friendlies in 2015 with the U.S.: A 3-2 loss at Chile, a 2-0 win at Panama, a 3-2 loss at Denmark and a 1-1 draw at Switzerland. Rimando has a 12-3-2 record with the U.S.   Both Beckerman and Rimando are expected to be available for Saturday's matchup with the Vancouver Whitecaps at Rio Tinto Stadium.   The RSL duo will face a Mexico side that features a familiar face later this week. Former RSL Academy product and center back Carlos Salcedo, sold to Chivas de Guadalajara this offseason, received his first-ever call up by the Mexican first team for Wednesday's friendly.   The 21-year-old defender spent two seasons with the RSL first team before publicly announcing last November he wanted to be moved from the club. Salcedo started eight games in 2014, while appearing in 12. He became the first RSL Academy product to score a senior team goal in a 5-1 win over Colorado last September.   Houston Dynamo forward Erick "Cubo" Torres, on loan at Chivas until early summer, is part of Mexico's 19-man roster for the friendly as is Club America forward Oribe Peralta.   Wednesday's friendly will mark the 64th meeting between the U.S. and Mexico.   The U.S. roster for friendly against Mexico:  Goalkeepers (3): Nick Rimando (Real Salt Lake), Bill Hamid (D.C. United), Williams Yarbrough (Club Leon)  Defenders (8): Ventura Alvarado (Club America), Matt Besler (Sporting Kansas City), Brad Evans (Seattle Sounders FC), Greg Garza (Club Tijuana), Omar Gonzalez (LA Galaxy), Michael Orozco (Puebla), Brek Shea (Orlando City SC), DeAndre Yedlin (Tottenham Hotspur)  Midfielders (6): Kyle Beckerman (Real Salt Lake), Michael Bradley (Toronto FC), Joe Corona (Club Tijuana), Mix Diskerud (New York City FC), Miguel Ibarra (Minnesota United FC), Lee Nguyen (New England Revolution)  Forwards (5): Juan Agudelo (New England Revolution), Julian Green (Hamburg), Jordan Morris (Stanford University), Chris Wondolowski (San Jose Earthquakes), Gyasi Zardes (LA Galaxy)  ***  -Chris Kamrani  Twitter: @chriskamrani
