Michigan's starting quarterback and backup quarterback already know who they are for the season opener on Thursday at Utah.

But Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh decided to place an "or" between the names of Jake Rudock and Shane Morris on the depth chart that was released Monday and during the Big Ten conference call on Tuesday continued to play a bit of cat and mouse when asked about the quarterback situation.

"They know," Harbaugh said on the call when asked when he will tell them who is starting. "We know who's going to start, we know who's going to go in second or go in next.

"I want them both to prepare like they're going to be the starter. I don't know how to make it any clearer."
