MLS: Toronto wins third straight

TORONTO - Amado Guevara scored twice in the second half to give Toronto FC a 2-0 victory over the Kansas City Wizards on Saturday, the second-year Toronto club's franchise-record third straight win.

Toronto, which only won six of 30 games last year, improved to 3-2-0 and went above .500 for the first time ever, while the Wizards fell to 3-2-1. Toronto also has beaten the Los Angeles Galaxy and Real Salt Lake during the streak.

Crew 1, Dynamo 0: In Columbus, Ohio, Alejandro Moreno scored and Columbus remained unbeaten at home this season with a win over the Houston.

Fire 2, Rapids 1: in Bridgeview, Ill., John Thorrington scored two goals to lift Chicago over Colorado.

Galaxy 5, Chivas USA 2: In Carson, Calif., Landon Donovan scored three times and had an assist to run his MLS-leading total to eight goals in five games, and Los Angeles beat Chivas USA.
