Begg-Smith, the Olympic champion, had 25.94 points to edge Nathan Roberts of the United States with 25.88 in the men's final down the 210-meter Slalombacken course.
Uemura beat Kristi Richards of Canada 24.43 points to 23.73 in the women's final. Emiko Torito of the United States placed third.
Begg-Smith moved to 539 points in the overall standings. Guilbaut Colas of France, who wound up 11th, is second with 448 points. A win is worth 100 points. Two events are left.
Uemura tops the standings with 483 points, 83 ahead of Nikola Sudova of the Czech Republic, who finished fourth.
Dual moguls are scheduled for today.
Freestyle aerials
American Emily Cook came back from her first career win last weekend in Moscow to finish fourth in a World Cup aerial event in Davos, Switzerland. Park City's Scotty Bahrke was sixth with a career best score in the FIS Freestyle World Cup aerial finale.
Canada's Steve Omischl, who had clinched the title in Moscow last Saturday night, won his sixth event of the season. Evelyne Leu of Switzerland took the win in her home country.
Speedskating
Two-time Olympic gold medalist Apolo Anton Ohno was disqualified for pushing a skater and Song Kyung-taek won the 1,500 meters at the World Short Track Speedskating Championships on Friday at Seoul, South Korea.
Song delighted the home crowd, finishing in 2:16.77 and filling the void left by South Korea's injured Olympic champion Ahn Hyun-soo.
Ohno's disqualification for pushing Lee Seung-hoon on the penultimate bend left South Korea's Lee Ho-suk (2:17.347) to take silver, followed by Charles Ryan Leveille of the United States.
China's Wang Meng won the women's race in 2:22.819, ahead of South Korea's Yang Shin-young with 2:22.904 and China's Zhou Yang (2:23.191).
Wotherspoon wins in Japan: Jeremy Wotherspoon won the 500 meters and set a rink record Friday, at Nagano, Japan, helping Canadians dominate the second day of the speedskating World Single-Distance Championships.
Wotherspoon finished 0.22 seconds ahead of South Korea's Lee Kyou-hyuk at the M-Wave arena after winning both 500 races with times of 34.78 and 34.68 for a combined time of 1 minute, 09.46 seconds. In the 500, skaters race once in each lane around the 400-meter course.
Wotherspoon clinched the World Cup season title in Heerenveen, Netherlands, on Feb. 23.
Canada's Kristina Groves also clocked a rink-record time of 4:05.03 to win the women's 3,000 meters - 0.46 ahead of Paulien van Deutekom of the Netherlands.
Ski jumping
Gregor Schlierenzauer of Austria won a World Cup ski jumping meet on Friday at Lillehamer, Norway, edging Andreas Kuttel of Switzerland by 2.1 points for his third victory of the season.
Schlierenzauer jumped 132 and 129.5 meters for 257.9 points on the illuminated Lysgardsbakken hill that was used during the 1994 Winter Olympics.
Kuttel jumped 126.5 and 133 meters. Janne Happonen of Finland finished third with 255.3 points after jumps of 124.5 and 135 meters.
