Posted: 9:54 AM- Forward Stephen Weigh scored 32 points and grabbed nine rebounds as the Utah Utes rallied from a 16-point deficit in the second half for a 97-96 victory over the Perth Wildcats professional team Friday.

It was the first game of the Australian tour.

Playing in his home country, Weigh was 8-for-12 from three-point range -- the line is nine inches farther from the basket than in college -- and guard Johnnie Bryant drove nearly the length of the floor for a game-winning layup with two seconds left.

Perth's Rashad Phillips missed a desperation three-pointer at the final horn.

Forward Shaun Green finished with 17 points and eight rebounds in just 20 foul-plagued minutes -- the Utes had only eight available players, in a 48-minute game -- while center Luke Nevill scored 13 of his 16 points in the second half, when the Utes used a 12-0 run to get back into the game. Nevill also grabbed eight rebounds.
