Jake Orchard

Highland Basketball

Even while he was starring for Highland's football team, Jake Orchard's winter sport was never far from his mind. Orchard led the Rams to their second state championship in five years. He scored 16 points in Highland's 56-45 victory over Provo in the Class 4-A title game and shot 50 percent from the field in four tournament games. Orchard led the Rams in scoring during the regular season with 16.6 points per game.

Haley Hall

Clearfield Basketball

The Clearfield senior finished the girls' basketball season as the most prolific scorer in the state. Her average of 23.2 points per game was nearly four points better than the second-best scorer in the state. She also hit 46 three-pointers on the season, averaging more than two per game.

With a scholarship to play at BYU next year, Hall's skills have been recognized as some of the best in the state.
