RENO, Nev. - B.J. Mitchell ran for 149 yards and four touchdowns, leading Nevada to a 62-14 victory over Idaho on Saturday.
Jeff Rowe passed for 251 yards and three touchdowns for the Wolf Pack (3-2, 2-0 WAC). Mitchell scored on runs of 4 and 7 yards in the first quarter and added TD runs of 56 and 7 yards in the third quarter.
Rowe threw two scoring passes in the second quarter - a 20-yarder to Caleb Spencer and a 2-yard shovel pass to Adam Bishop- as Nevada built a 28-0 lead.
Idaho scored on a 7-yard pass from Steven Wichman to Daniel Smith with 1:18 left in the first half, cutting Nevada's lead to 28-6.
Louisiana Tech 46, Hawaii 14: At Ruston, La., Mark Dillard rushed for 155 yards and two touchdowns to lead Louisiana Tech (2-2, 2-0) past Western Athletic Conference rival Hawaii (1-4, 1-2) for the first time in four games.
Dillard's 59-yard touchdown run in the first put the Bulldogs up 9-7 and his 32-yard carry into the end zone in the third gave them a 37-14 lead.
Boise State 21, Portland State 14: At Boise, Idaho, the Broncos outscored the Vikings 14-0 in the second half to run their home winning streak to 27 games.
Fresno State 37, New Mexico State 7: At Las Cruces, N.M., Paul Pinegar threw two touchdown passes in the first quarter and later ran for another score. The Bulldogs (3-1, 1-0 Western Athletic) built an early 17-0 lead and coasted the rest of the way.
