If nothing else, Idaho has shown Utah State and Gary Andersen that it can be done.

When the two teams hook up today at 3 p.m., it will be the final game of the season for the Aggies. It will be a chance for USU to win its fourth game of the year, with many more near misses, and it will present an opportunity for the Aggies to end the season on a high note.

But it won't be the end for the Vandals. They are bowl eligible, the surprise team of the Western Athletic Conference and the feel good story of the league.

Of course, Andersen, in his first season as head coach, would've preferred that his was the talked about team. At this point, however, just beating Idaho will suffice.

"It would be a very big win for us," Andersen said. "They've had a bye week so they've had time to look at us and they're going to be very prepared for us. They're a very good football team. It looks like they're going to a bowl game, so there's going to be lots of excitement."
