Orlando Johnson hauled in a double-double, scoring 19 points and pulling down 10 rebounds to lead the UC Santa Barbara men's basketball team to a 66-57 win over Weber State on Tuesday night.

The Gauchos (2-0) pulled out early, scoring 14 points before the Wildcats (0-2) even got on the board. The team then led the entire game after that.

Johnson was six-for-11 from the field, including two 3-pointers. Jaime Serna and Paul Roemer each had nine points, and Jon Pastorek grabbed 11 rebounds.

Damian Lillard scored 16 points, including landing four 3-pointers for Weber State, while Kyle Bullinger scored 12.

UC Santa Barbara outshot their opponents 35.4 percent to 29.7.

Cal State Bakersfield 58, Utah Valley 51 » In Bakersfield, Calif., Trent Blakley and Santwon Latunde each scored 18 points as Cal State Bakersfield defeated Utah Valley 58-51 Tuesday night.

The Roadrunners (1-1) trailed 31-28 at halftime but outscored the Wolverines (1-1) 30-20 in the second half.

Latunde was 6 of 9 from the field and 6 of 7 from the free-throw line. He also had nine rebounds for Bakersfield.

Justin Baker led Utah Valley with 10 points. Tyray Petty added nine points and 11 rebounds, and Jourdain Scoubes had nine points and five rebounds.
