Even before Ciara Parker attended Snow Canyon, she was a part of the volleyball program. Being the coach's daughter, she came to watch practices and was in awe of the players who came before her.

When Snow Canyon won its first state title in 2006, she was in the front row cheering.

Three years later, the sophomore is the starting setter for the Warriors and instead of watching, she's on the court playing for a title. Parker had 27 assists on Saturday as Snow Canyon beat region foe Dixie 25-17, 25-21, 25-19 for its fourth straight state championship.

"That's always a worry when we come up here and play because we haven't seen anybody," said Dixie coach Stacy Leavitt. "But we just focus on ourselves."

The Warriors had a game plan, too. Snow Canyon focused on stopping outside hitter Jennika Wright. Snow Canyon dedicated a couple blockers on her and held her to five kills.

"We tried to make her change her game plan," Snow Canyon coach Alaina Parker said. "We're young. We start two freshman and two sophomores and we just have kids who know how to get after it."

Dixie didn't get much going on offense as she led the team. Ivory Boone also had five kills. On top of that, the Flyers struggled with their serving. Dixie finally found a rhythm in Game 3 but at one point, missed three straight serves.
