The BYU women's soccer team secured its second consecutive regular-season Mountain West Conference Championship after finishing their conference season unbeaten with a 2-0 win over Wyoming on Senior Day.
Sophomore goalkeeper McKinzie Olson recorded her 10th personal shutout of the season to give her a new career-high.
The team will next host the Mountain West Conference Championship -- where it will enjoy a top-seed first-round bye -- beginning Wednesday at South Field.
Utah 3, Air Force 0 » Sophomore forward Erin Dalley scored a pair of goals to lead the Utah women's soccer team (9-9-2, 4-2-1) to a 3-0 shutout win over Air Force Saturday on Senior Day to close its regular season.
Senior forward Jen Christoffers capped the scoring with a header in the 67th minute. The assist came from Kelly Isleib, who extended her all-time Utah assists record to 28. The No. 3-seeded Utah soccer team will face No. 6 seed TCU on Wednesday in the MWC tournament.
Oral Roberts 1, SUU 0 » Southern Utah staged a last-second flurry that ORU goalie Amanda Wheeler was able to turn back as SUU lost to ORU 1-0 in its home finale.
Southern Utah outshot the Eagles 18-to-14.

Utah 3, UNLV 0 » Junior opposite hitter Karolina Bartkowiak recorded her ninth double-double of the season as the Utah volleyball team (25-16, 25-19, 16-24) earned a win against
Bartkowiak hit for 12 kills on 24 swings with only two errors for a .417 hitting percentage.
Northern Colorado 3, Weber State 2 » Weber State held a 2-0 lead and had five chances to win the match, but in the end, the Wildcats fell 3-2 to Northern Colorado, 20-25, 19-25, 28-26, 25-22, 15-8.
The loss is the fourth straight for Weber State.
North Dakota State, SUU » Southern Utah lost to conference-leading North Dakota State. Southern Utah was held below a .100 hitting percentage in both the first and second sets, falling behind early in both frames.
New Mexico State, 3, Utah State 0 » Utah State's women's volleyball team dropped a three-set match
(31-29, 25-16, 25-21) to New Mexico State to fall to 13-12 on the season and 4-8 in Western Athletic Conference play. Junior middle blocker Danielle Taylor came off the bench to lead Utah State with eight kills and finished the match with a .412 (8-1-17) hitting percentage. Junior setter Chelsea Fowles added five kills and 11 digs, and hit .556 (5-0-9) for USU.
North Dakota 3, UVU 2 » Utah Valley fell out of first place in the Great West Conference volleyball standings Saturday with a 25-20, 21-25, 18-25, 25-23, 13-15 loss to North Dakota.
In the fourth set with her team trailing 23-20, UVU's Camie Manwill recorded four straight kills in a 5-0 UVU run to force the deciding set.
Women's basketball
Westminster 100, Bethany 46 » Behind the shooting of Michelle Pace, the Westminster women's basketball team cruised to a win over Bethany (Calif.). Westminster shot 53.6 percent from the floor and won a ninth consecutive road game dating back to last season.
Cross country
MWC » The New Mexico men's and women's cross country teams swept the 2009 Mountain West Conference Cross Country Championships hosted by BYU. Finishing behind New Mexico men in second place was BYU with 34 points.
Finishing behind the New Mexico women in second place was BYU with 45 points, while Colorado State (64 points), Air Force (124 points), Wyoming (165 points), Utah (195 points), TCU (196 points), San Diego State (207 points) and UNLV (210 points) rounded out third through ninth places.
Utah State » The men's cross country team won the 2009 Western Athletic Championships Saturday for the fifth-straight year. The Aggie women finished in second place behind New Mexico State.
Weber State » A young Weber women's team placed 2nd in the Big Sky Conference. Freshman Sarah Callister and Sophomore Laken Skidmore led the wildcats placing 4th and 5th overall. The men placed 4th in the team standings.
SUU » The women swept every award at the 2009 Summit League Cross Country Championships on Saturday morning. The men, led by Cameron Levins' first-place finish on the men's side, earned the runner-up trophy, just missing out on a conference title by five points.
