golf » England's Ross Fisher beat Masters champion Angel Cabrera on the 39th hole Saturday to set up a World Match Play Championship final against American Anthony Kim , a 5-and-4 winner over Australia's Robert Allenby .
Fisher won after Cabrera took five shots to reach the green on the final hole. Fisher hit his second shot from 244 yards to 5 feet at Finca Cortesin in Casares, Spain.
Kim, who beat Allenby 5 and 3 in the Presidents Cup, overcame an early two-hole deficit, pulling away at the 27th hole when he holed an approach from 101 yards.
The winnertoday will earn $1.1 million.

Venus Williams defeated Jelena Jankovic 5-7, 6-3, 6-4 Saturday in one semifinal at the Sony Ericsson Championships at Doha, Qatar. Serena Williams won the other when Caroline Wozniacki quit because of an abdominal injury while trailing 6-4, 0-1.
Serena, who secured the year-end No. 1 ranking this week, is returning to the final of the WTA Tour's season-ending championships for the first time since 2004. She was knocked out in the group stage the last two years, but was the only player to go undefeated through the round-robin rounds this time.
Serena won the event in 2001 and has been runner-up twice. On Sunday, Venus will defend her title from last year. Serena beat Venus in this year's Wimbledon final.
