Rock Racing's Francisco Mancebo and Oscar Sevilla finished one and two in the Tour of Utah on Wednesday, while Kelly Benefit's David Veilleux finished third in the 82-mile leg that took the racers from Ogden Canyon over Big Mountain and into Research Park.

The two earned a gap on the climb up Big Mountain and rode together into the finish while Veilleux came out of a pack to sprint to third.

Mancebo takes over as the race leader, ousting BMC's Brent Bookwalter who won Tuesday's prologue.

Mancebo has a 9-second advantage over Sevilla while Bookwalter is third and 30 seconds behind the leader. David Zabriskie is fourth, trailing by 32 seconds.

Today's 77-mile stage starts gently enough with a flat rollout from Thanksgiving Point, then ends with a 20-mile climb to the top of Mount Nebo. Racers will finish 4,000 feet above the low point on the course thanks to the long climb.

The race gets under way at 10 a.m., with an approximate finish time of 2 p.m.

The recommended places to watch are along the final climb, particularly at the summit which is half of a mile from the finish because viewers will see several turns of the mountain climb from the vantage point. Mile 41 offers a sprint.
