Utah Jazz: U.'s Nevill to work out before NBA draft

The Utah Jazz will work out 14 players this weekend, including University of Utah center Luke Nevill, in preparation for Thursday night's NBA draft.

Utah owns the 20th pick in the first round.

Nevill tops the list of players who will be in Salt Lake City on Sunday morning. Joining him are forward Jeff Adrien of Connecticut, point guard Darren Collison of UCLA, center Marcus Cousin of Houston, center-forward Josh Heytvelt of Gonzaga, forward James Johnson of Wake Forest and guard Jeremy Pargo of Gonzaga.

Among those eight players, only Johnson is considered a probable first-round pick.

The six players scheduled to work out Saturday are forward Derrick Brown of Xavier, guard Tony Douglas of Florida State, forward Taylor Griffin of Oklahoma, forward Paul Harris of Syracuse, Pittsburgh forward Sam Young and guard Justin Dentmon of Washington.

Griffin's brother, Blake, is almost certain to be the No. 1 pick in the draft.

Brown and Young and considered probable first-round picks.
