Coach Jim Boylen opens his second season at the University of Utah today, when his Utes take on Division II Grand Valley State in an exhibition game at the Huntsman Center.
Tipoff is set for 2 p.m.
The Utes have all five starters returning from last season's 18-15 team, and have been picked to finish fourth in the Mountain West Conference. Grand Valley State was 36-1 last season, but lost three of its top four players - though it still was ranked 10th in the preseason Division II poll.
