Arena football wannabes have a chance to impress the Utah Blaze, which will hold a player combine at 9 a.m. Friday in the Spence Eccles Field House on the University of Utah campus. Registration is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m.
The cost of the combine is $100 (cash only). Participants will be tested in the 40-yard dash and a short shuttle, as well as being tested for upper- and lower-body strength and explosiveness.
Those interested should dress in workout gear and wear grass cleats. No metal spikes will be allowed.
