Posted: 12:52 PM- Real Salt Lake will be greeted by a sellout crowd of 20,008 tonight when it takes on the New York Bulls on national television at the new Rio Tinto Stadium.
Ticket sales were brisk, thanks to an online ticketing system at riotintostadium.com that allowed ticket purchasers to map out where they would sit and what kind of view they would have.
"It was geared toward a very customer service-[friendly] purchasing experience," said Trey Fitzgerald, RSL team spokesman. " And the excitement of the team being in the playoff hunt for the first time ever, that helps."
