Blaze re-sign Whittaker

The Utah Blaze re-signed all-Arena Football League receiver Huey Whittaker on Tuesday to a three-year contract. Financial details of the agreement were not immediately disclosed.

Whittaker led the team with 1,541 receiving yards in 2008 and earned all-AFL First-Team honors.

He had 126 catches for 32 touchdowns and was part of the first three-man receiving corps in Arena League Football history to have all three players record more than 1,500 receiving yards, 100 receptions and 20 touchdowns, joining Aaron Boone and J.J. McKelvey.
