Chihuahuas top Bees, 2-1

Salt Lake starter Troy Scribner tossed five hitless innings, but left Sunday's game trailing, and the Bees lost to host El Paso, 2-1, for their fifth consecutive defeat.

Scribner struck out four, but walked a season-high five batters in his five innings. In the fourth, with runners on first and second, Bees third baseman Angel Rosa booted a ground ball to load the bases. A sacrifice fly by Hector Sanchez then gave the Chihuahuas a 1-0 lead.

Salt Lake tied the score on Sherman Johnson's RBI double in the top of the sixth inning. But in the bottom of the sixth, Nick Torres drove in the winning run with an infield single.
