The host Sacramento River Cats scored five runs in the first inning and rolled to a 15-1 win over the Salt Lake Bees on Sunday evening. Sacramento jumped on Salt Lake starter Kyle McGowin on an RBI double by San Francisco Giants infielder Matt Duffy, who is on a rehab assignment. McGowin (4-9) lost his fifth straight game, as he went just 12⁄3 innings and allowed eight runs on six hits with three walks. The lone Salt Lake run came in the second inning, as Nick Buss doubled, stole third and scored on a groundout by Ryan Jackson.
