Quintin Berry went 2-for-2 with three walks and two RBIs on Sunday, leading Salt Lake to a 7-3 victory over Fresno. In front of 4,408 fans at Smith's Ballpark, the Bees snapped a six-game home losing streak.

Turning Point • Salt Lake owned a 1-0 lead with the bases loaded and two outs in the second. It looked like the inning would end on Berry's fly to center, but Andrew Aplin lost the ball in the sun. The Bees ended up scoring six runs.

Bees MVP • David Huff pitched four scoreless innings before allowing Alex Bregman's three-run homer with two outs in the fifth. Still, it was Huff's best outing this season. In three previous starts, he allowed 16 runs on 17 hits in 16 innings.

Hidden Hero • With two outs and nobody on in the six-run second, Salt Lake catcher Juan Graterol went the other way against a shift. His single to right field kept the inning alive.

Flashing Leather • In the fifth, Aplin drilled a long fly to center. But the Bees' Rafael Ortega raced straight back and made a diving catch on the warning track, just in front of the 420-foot sign.

Quoteworthy • Asked about Huff's outing, manager Keith Johnson said, "… He did a really good job of getting to both sides of the plate — in to left-handed hitters and right-handed hitters. Those guys didn't get many good passes at him."

Angel Angle • It's not official, but right-hander Nick Tropeano has been recalled by the Angels and will pitch Monday at Tampa. He made a rehab start for the Bees last week after missing a month with a sore shoulder.

History lesson • On July 3, 2000, catcher A.J. Pierzynski's run-scoring double in the ninth inning gives Salt Lake a 10-9 win at Las Vegas. Teammate Doug Mientkiewicz goes 3-for-5 with three RBIs.
