BYU product Jaycob Brugman went 4-for-4 with three doubles and Nashville swept a four-game series from Salt Lake with an 8-3 win Monday. In front of 9,042 fans at Smith's Ballpark, the Bees trailed after six innings, 8-0.
Turning point
Nashville snapped a scoreless tie in the fourth. Renato Nunez singled and went to third on Ryon Healy's base hit. Matt Olson followed with a towering home run — his first hit in nine at-bats in the series.
Bees' MVP
No bright spots for the Bees, who have been decimated by call-ups and injuries. They have lost 11 of their last 14 games, including six straight. In this series, they were outscored, 30-15.
Hidden hero
Second baseman Sherman Johnson doubled home one run and scored another in the seventh. He finished 9-for-28 with six RBIs on the eight-game home stand.
Flashing leather
In the top of the third, Nashville's Joey Wendle hit a sinking liner to center field. But Todd Cunningham raced in and made a diving catch for the first out of the inning.

How do the Bees can get through a stretch with so many roster changes? "Just keep playing," Johnson said. "Keep playing hard. It's next man up. … Just try to do your job and play as hard as you can."
Angel angle
Lefty Chris Jones, Salt Lake's scheduled starter, was a late scratch. He's been called up by the Angels, who used seven pitchers in Sunday's 13-inning loss to Houston.
History lesson
On May 30, 1994, Scott Stahoviak hit a pair of three-run homers and finished with eight RBIs, leading the Salt Lake Buzz to a 16-2 victory at Colorado Springs.
