The Salt Lake Bees have 72 home games in the upcoming season.

On Saturday, Utahns lined up at Smith's Ballpark to try out for a shot at singing the national anthem at the start of those games.

Individuals and groups of up to eight people were allowed to sing their best rendition — a capella — of "The Star-Spangled Banner."

Those chosen for the honor will be contacted later by the team.
