The Utah Grizzlies have re-signed forward Travis Howe for the 2017-2018 season, the team has announced.

Last season Howe finished second in the ECHL with 22 fighting majors and fourth in penalty minutes with 324. He scored two goals, both of which were game winners, and had two assists in 50 games played.

Howe ended the season with the third most penally minutes since the team joined the ECHL in 2006 and the ninth most in the organization's 23-seasons.

"Getting [Howe] re-signed was a high priority for us," Branham said in a statement. "He is a fan favorite and a very important part of our team. We are excited to have him back."

The Grizzlies' opening night is set for October 14 against Colorado.
