Lennon has tallied a goal and an assist in 11 starts and 12 appearances. His assist came in RSL's 6-2 win at Los Angeles after he entered the match in the 71st minute Tuesday.
The standout RSL Academy product also gained attention on the international stage earlier this year. He was one of four Real Salt Lake players to be named to the U.S. Under-20 national team roster for the FIFA U-20 World Cup. He scored two goals and logged three assists in the tournament.
Waibel restricted by injury
RSL's propensity for injury spread to the front office this week.
General manager Craig Waibel went to the hospital after a mountain biking accident Tuesday.
He took a handle bar to the chest and, according to RSL communications, suffered cartilage damage. His lung did not collapse, but it was affected.
Waibel continued to take calls regarding the secondary transfer window, which opens Monday, but was spared from unnecessary phone conversations and media availability.
The team expects he will be back to work at full capacity Monday.
Marcelo Silva joins training
RSL's newest acquisition joined the team in training for the first time Friday.
When the rest of the team left for Tuesday's game at Los Angeles, the Uruguayan center back, whose signing RSL announced Monday, remained in Utah to work out.
How did he look Friday?
"Tired," RSL coach Mike Petke said. "Obviously he's not used to the altitude. The heat doesn't help as well, but aside from that, a lot of quality. ... And like I said, once he gets over the altitude, I think he'll be a very good addition."
Silva will be added to the roster upon the approval of his International Transfer Certificate during the transfer window.
