Get that caffeine ready.

The Pac-12 has released the TV schedule for the first month of the upcoming football season and other select weekday games. Only once in the first four weeks will Utah kick off before 8 p.m. MST.

The sun will still be shining when the Utes debut on Aug. 31, with a 5:30 kickoff against FCS power North Dakota at Rice-Eccles Stadium. But subsequent games against BYU (8:15 p.m.), San Jose State (8 p.m.) and Arizona (8:30 p.m.) will go late.

The only other Utah game announced on Wednesday afternoon was Utah's Nov. 3 game against UCLA at home, which has a 7:30 p.m. kick.

The early slate is split between the ESPN family of networks and Fox Sports 1. The only Pac-12 Networks exclusive game so far is the season opener. Last year, Utah didn't have a game on ESPN or ESPN2 for the entire season, but it made FOX broadcasts four times.

The kickoffs and channels for the remaining games will likely be announced within a 6-10 day window before kickoff by the conference. The Utah-BYU game network will be finalized after the first week of games.
