The host Round Rock Express beat Salt Lake 11-3 in a Pacific Coast League game on Monday, as the Bees finished an eight-game road trip at 4-4. Bees pitcher Greg Mahle (2-2), making his first professional start, was charged with three runs over 12⁄3 innings and was given the loss. Kaleb Cowart and Eric Young Jr. had two hits each to lead the Bees at the plate. Salt Lake (25-20) remains in first place in the Pacific Southern division, 11/2 games ahead of Albuquerque.
