The Golden State Warriors are the class of the NBA and heavy favorites to win the title, but they'll have to overcome the Utah Jazz — and Utah's boring nightlife first.
An ESPN report Monday said several of the team's stars are lamenting spending Game 3 on Saturday and Game 4 on Monday of the Western Conference Semifinals in Salt Lake City rather than meeting the Clippers in Los Angeles.
Warriors forward Matt Barnes said "there's no nightlife in Utah." Forward Andre Iguodala said being in Utah "can kind of lull you to sleep" and the SLC vibe is "just like, 'Man let's just get out of here.'"
Some players were more businesslike, including Kevin Durant and Draymond Green. Durant said his preparation won't change and Green is more concerned with competing at altitude than finding postgame festivities.
"It's the playoff," the normally outspoken forward said. "Nobody worried about nightlife during the playoffs."
