Ryan Villopoto's name was at the top of the list the last time AMA Supercross series visited Salt Lake City four years ago.

Not only in the final standings from the Utah event, but Villopoto in 2013 was also the premier rider in the heart of a four-year run as the 450SX overall champ.

Things have changed, however, as the Monster Energy Supercross visits Rice-Eccles Stadium once again Saturday night.

Villopoto retired in 2015, leaving a power vacuum at the top that was replaced by another Ryan: Ryan Dungey, who has won the world championship in the 450SX category in 2016 and 2017.

In that sense, not too much has changed for Salt Lake fans of supercross as Dungey, currently second in this year's point standings behind Eli Tomac of Cortez Colo., was third at the Utah stop in '13.

Davi Millsaps, who finished second in Salt Lake City four years ago, is currently seventh in the individual point totals.

The riders in the 450SX Class race on 450cc four-stroke motorcycles over a course that includes jumps and obstacles.

Another category at the event is for younger competitors who race on 250cc four-stroke bikes.

Justin Hill, of Yoncalla, Ore., leads the 250SX West standings with Aaron Plessinger of Hamilton, Ohio, 18 points behind in second.

Practice and qualifying runs begin at 1 p.m., with the finals session starting at 7:30 p.m.
