The Jazz face the Sacramento Kings Wednesday night a the Golden 1 Center in a game the Jazz need to win, in order to maintain a one and a half game lead on the fourth spot in the Western Conference.

Who will Utah's starting point guard be? That's the question.

George Hill? He's out with a strained groin. He suffered the injury in the fourth quarter of Utah's win over the New Orleans Pelicans, Monday night.

Raul Neto? He's out, also with a strained groin, an injury he also suffered against New Orleans.

That leaves Dante Exum and Shelvin Mack.

Mack is just coming back from a sprained ankle that cost him the last two weeks. He played sparingly on Monday, his first night back. Exum remains a high risk/high reward component to Quin Snyder's rotation. There are nights when the young point guard is very good. There are nights when Exum is shaky with the ball. And at this point, the Jazz need a steady hand at every spot.

When asked, Jazz coach Quin Snyder wouldn't commit to a starter.

"We don't have a set depth chart," Snyder said. "It's something that we will talk about and make a decision on before the game."

The Jazz will also be without Derrick Favors for another game. Favors got shots up with assistant coach Tony Lang after Wednesday's shootaround. All-star Gordon Hayward — who missed Monday's win — said after shootaround that he will try to play

The Kings? They're out of the playoff chase, but have won two straight and are playing well in the role of spoiler.

"We have to come out and play with a lot more energy tonight than we did the last time we were here," Hayward said. "They are playing hard. We need these games. They are extremely important to trying to accomplish what we want to do."

Shooting guard Alec Burks is back with the team, after missing Monday to be with his significant other for the birth of their first child. Burks' daughter, whom Burks calls "Baby AB", was born Monday night.
