Orlando, Fla. • The Orlando Solar Bears defeated Utah 3-0 Friday night at Amway Center, snapping the Grizzlies' four-game unbeaten streak.

Orlando goaltender Ryan Massa stopped all 42 Utah shots, including 21 in the third period. The Solar Bears held a 2-0 lead from early in the first period for 48 minutes and 26 seconds. The shutout was the second in two games for Massa.

The loss snaps Utah's four-game unbeaten streak at 3-0-1-0.

The Solar Bears took a 1-0 lead 3:01 into the first period and made it 2-0 3:46 later. The Grizzlies finished the contest with 40 of the final 59 shots, but was never able to find the back of the net.

Ralph Cuddemi led Utah with seven shots, Michael Pelech had five.

The Solar Bears made it 3-0 with 4:47 left in regulation on a four-on-four goal.

Ryan Faragher stopped 23 of 26 shots for the Grizzlies.

Utah lost no ground in the standings as Rapid City beat Alaska 2-1 so Utah remains three points in back of the Aces in the Mountain Division.
