A look at standout performers and key numbers from Friday semifinal round of the Class 3A girls' and boys' basketball state tournaments at Utah State University.

Laulea Tavake

The Juan Diego freshman didn't play in the first half, but she scored the Soaring Eagle's last six points and finished with eight in the girls' semifinal win.

Emma Jones

The Richfield junior guard was 2 of 4 from beyond the arc and 6 of 7 from the free-throw line, including four in the final minute of the Wildcats' win over Morgan. She led the Wildcats with 14 points and added five assists.

Theron Wallantine

The Ridgeline senior scored 13 of his team's 15 points in the first quarter and finished the Class 3A boys' semifinal victory with 33 points.

Ignacio Arroyo

The Juan Diego sophomore guard looked calm and composed for such a young player as he sank 6 of his 7 free-throw attempts in the final minutes to clinch a berth in the title game for the Soaring Eagle. He finished with 16 points in addition to three rebounds, three assists and a steal.

The field goal percentage for Juan Diego in its win over Dixie. The Soaring Eagle hit 25 of their 41 shots. Jason Ricketts and Steven Price were a big part of the efficient night, going 13 of their 17 in the paint to combine for 28 points.

Richfield used a 14-0 run that covered parts of the final two quarters to pull ahead and stay ahead of Morgan in the second half. The Wildcats also outrebounded Morgan by 14, 30-16, in the girls' semifinal.
