A look at standout performers and key numbers from Thursday's quarterfinal round of the Class 3A boys' basketball state tournament at Utah State University.

Theron Wallentine

The Ridgeline senior went 7 of 8 from the floor and scored just about every time he touched the ball. His 14 points led the Riverhawks, and his post play led to a fluid and balanced offensive attack in the win.

Logan Hokanson

The Desert Hills senior point guard scored a game-high 21 points and dished out four assists to lead the Thunder past Stansbury and into the state semifinals.

Richard Guymon

The Dixie senior center turned in an all-around solif game against Canyon View. He finished with 9 points, 7 rebounds, 6 blocks and two steals to lead the Flyers into the state semifinals.

Jason Ricketts

The Juan Diego junior forward tied his season high with 16 points and was extremely efficient, hitting 6-of-9 shots from the floor. He also was 4 of 6 from the free-throw line and added six rebounds and a block to cement the Soaring Eagle's blowout win.

The number of Juan Diego's seven players with extended minutes who finished with at least 10 points in the win over Richfield. Jason Ricketts led the way with 16, followed by Brennan Fabry with 14, Ignacio Arroyo 13, Steven Price 12, Eslliey Tan 11 and JD Ahlstrom rounding it out with 10.

The number of assists Ridgeline collected in its win over Carbon. Dallan Larsen, Landon Brenchley and Jaxon Brenchely each finished with four.

Dixie senior center Richard Guymon blocked six shots in what ended up being a two-possession game. His six blocks were also twice as many as the entire Canyon View team.

The number of turnovers committed by Stansbury, including 14 in the first half. The turnovers negated the Stallions shooting 56.5 percent from the floor in the opening half. Stansbury had more first-half turnovers (14) than field goals (13).
